Agent Spotlight: Meet Jim Burnett!

Occupation – Real Estate Agent for John L. Scott Mukilteo

Tell us more about where you are from – I was raised in Shoreline, WA graduating from Shorecrest High School. Then spending the next 4 ½ years in Pullman attending WSU. Since then, I have lived all over the Puget Sound region and currently reside in Everett.

What I love about my profession – The chance to see some beautiful homes and travel to neighborhoods that I would have never known existed. Making connections with new people and helping them reach their goals in either buying or selling their biggest asset is very satisfying.

Other interests and hobbies? – I really enjoy cooking and entertaining!

Proudest moment – Not really one proudest moment but have experienced some amazing moments in sports. Attending the 1982 Apple Cup in Pullman my freshman year, the 1995 Mariners 1-game playoff in the Kingdome, seeing the Cougs play in the 1998 Rose Bowl and sitting atop the pit box right behind the crew chief for a NASCAR Cup race in Phoenix. So many more…

When I’m not working… - Taking daily walks to recharge and unwind. You can find me walking the Lowell Trail on a regular basis.

Favorite Destinations – Pullman, Washington, nothing better than finding my way back home to Cougar Country and enjoying a festive football weekend.

Best advice – Always be true to yourself.

Guilty pleasures – A perfectly cooked steak and an amazing glass of red wine with good friends.

Something you probably shouldn’t have done – I will save that for another day lol!
